I haven’t had a chance to do anything more to my Model T Ford for the past week, but I am still a lot further down the road than I was in my last post. I should have a lot more time for this project, this week.
Here is where I am up to so far. Click on the images to see a larger size:
It’s taking shape, but there is still a way to go. It’ll look better when the headlights are made, I think I’ll do them next. The car looks a bit strange without the headlights. It shouldn’t take long to make the strut bar things that go from the side of the windscreen to the base of the radiator. The windscreen frame needs to look like it is in two parts – able to fold in the middle. The crank handle and Ford logo across the radiator also still needs to be done before the front of the car is finished. I need to make the horn which is placed on the outside of the car, beside the engine cover on the left side of the car.
I still have to do the upholstery for the seats, but I won’t do that until I finish the front end. I need to make a back door too. There’s also something that sits on the mudguard step too, on each side. A cylinder on one side, a box on the other. Then there is the roof. It’ll take some problem solving to work that one out.
Still lots to do, but it’s fun.

Its loking really nice Doug!
Thanks.
I wasn’t sure anyone was still following this.
