Stockholm – Day 2

1

Today we walked around Gamla Stan again, and had a great lunch there in a nice cafe, that also had a bar in it. It was a cross between a restaurant, cafe and bar. It was very nice and the food was good. LittleB wanted to try Swedish Meatballs, and so that’s what she had. I had a thin fillet of beef with bearnaise sauce, with salad and chips which tasted a bit unusual, but it was ok.

The weather was a bit warmer today, it got to 0 degrees celcius. Stockholm looked deserted though, as it was Christmas Eve and most places were shut. It was great though, especially for photography. There was little problem with people getting in the way of things.

I have put the photos from Day 2 in my gallery here: [Link] .

The last several photos are evening photos which have a different look.

On Day 1 I took the video below, I am only just posting it now. After I recorded it, LittleB said “There are some jobs you just cannot get in Sydney.” which I thought was very funny.

(Less than 5mb)

The main event for the day though was to take a hop on, hop off bus. There are two routes it takes, the yellow route and the blue route (note Swedish flag colours). I recorded the whole yellow route trip on video, which goes for about an hour so I won’t post it here just yet. :)

I took recorded some other miscellaneous video clips which I’ll add later.

We had a nice dinner here at the hotel. I had some sort of gourmet cheese burger, with fries, and LittleB ate a salmon dish, with an enormous amount of salmon, more than she’s ever eaten in one go before.

That’ll be all

Hi

I am happy to see littleb walking in the snow and enjoying the scenery.

I saw the photos in the gallery they are good. Boats building snow. The chairs are full of snow if you are tired there would not be any chair to sit.

I am glad that both of you have enjoyed the food especially littleb with the salmon dish. Love Mum
