We have made it to Stockholm. It has been an extremely tiring journey, neither of us has slept for 48 hours. I’ll never again fly for so many hours at once, at least not without traveling business class! The best thing is to stop over somewhere, half way. We are going to go to sleep very soon, so I will keep this short. I’ll write more about the journey tomorrow.

We arrived this evening on time, and saw a lot of beautifully lit buildings and parks during our cab ride from the airport to our hotel. If the weather is as clear as today in the coming days, we should be able to get some excellent night photos. Unfortunately we really have to sleep now, instead of getting out with our cameras, to get a good 10 hours sleep in before our day tomorrow.

I have taken photos of our hotel room, which is nice, but very small. I’ll post those photos here tomorrow.

The weather is extremely cold outside. We were warm in our clothes, but our ears and face almost froze solid in just a few minutes, just outside the airport. LittleB got to walk on snow for the first time. She wondered what it would be like. I’ll buy a warm beanie tomorrow to cover my ears. There is a lot of snow, but it wasn’t snowing when we were coming from the airport in the cab. The weather was very clear.

LittleB is really really tired, she won’t add anything to her blog today, but tomorrow there should be something. We are here now, and just settling in. Thanks Helena for your message, we got it.
